- Enter your current grade percentage, how much the final exam is worth (e.g. 20%), and your desired final grade. The calculator tells you the minimum final exam score needed.
- That means your desired grade is mathematically unachievable. You may need to lower your target grade.
- It is the percentage of your final grade that the final exam contributes. If your final is worth 30% of your grade, enter 30.
- Needed = (93 − 92×0.75) / 0.25 = (93−69)/0.25 = 96%. Very achievable!
- Yes — just set "current grade" to your weighted average of all completed work, and "final weight" to the remaining exam weight.
