Daily net = (End − Start) − Break
Weekly = Daily net × Days/week | Monthly = Weekly × 4.348

Frequently Asked Questions
- Enter your daily start time, end time, and break duration, then set the number of days worked per week. The calculator multiplies daily net hours by that number.
- Monthly hours = weekly hours × (365.25 / 7 / 12), which gives an accurate average of 4.348 weeks per month.
- This calculator is for a consistent daily schedule. For variable shifts, use the Hours Calculator for each day separately and sum the results.
- Gross hours is the total time between start and end. Net hours is gross minus break time — the hours you are actually working.
- Multiply the decimal part by 60. For example, 7.75 hours = 7 hours and 0.75 × 60 = 45 minutes.
